Policy and Strategy Analyst, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)


A 28 year U.S. Army Veteran, Dr. Michael Sullivan leverages subject matter expertise acquired in progressive roles as an operations management advisor across diverse sectors including Military, Government, Advanced Education, Strategic Security, and Space Operations. He brings proficiency in security cooperation, strategic planning, guiding cross-functional teams, evaluating, and improving processes, conducting project essential research, ensuring effective contract negotiations, and executing leadership initiatives. In his current role as Policy and Strategy Analyst with the NRO, Dr. Sullivan assists in conducting detailed analysis of Space Policy and Strategy. He works with multiple government, private, and non-government agencies to further the development of U.S. space policy interests. He also serves as an adjunct instructor at both Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service, McCourt School of Public Policy and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
